The floral part of the plant is generally of two types like the Actinomorphic and the Zygomorphic.  Actinomorphic flowers are bilaterally symmetrical in nature whereas zygomorphic flowers are bilaterally asymmetrical. Examples of Actinomprphic flowers are Catharanthus roseus, Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, etc. Example of zygomorphic flowers is Clitoria ternatea, members of the family Orchidaceae, Scrophulariaceae, etc.
