Jack Kevorkian who was an American pathologist who assisted over 130 patients commit suicide by injecting them with carbon monoxide which he administered by using a machine of his invention. He believed that dying is not a crime and he assisted terminally ill patients die so that they could die with dignity and not after so much of suffering. He was imprisoned for second degree murder later on when he assisted a 52 year old patient to die. He was given a 25 year sentence with chance of parole.
