1. The diagram on the following slide is an example of a
liquid-vapor graph for a mixture of A and B. Though I
have not explained it to that extent in our lecture,
these diagrams can be used for purification purposes
through fractional distillation where we can obtain
almost pure liquid A (at L5) from an initial mixture
that is mostly B (at L,) through repeated boiling and
condensation. Use the diagram to answer the
following questions. You don't have to be exact with
the values.
