Many people regard migration as a challenge, if not a menace. Humanity has been on the move from the beginning of time. Some people relocate in quest of work or economic opportunities, to meet family, or to study. Others flee to avoid conflict, terrorism, or human rights violations.
Others relocate in response to the negative consequences of climate change, or other environmental problems. More people than ever before are living in countries other than the one where they were born.
