Expert Solution
Step 1: Introduction to question

According to superposition theorem , total response in element is the sum of the responses in element with one source at a time with other sources are deactivated.

In supervision  therorem  , when we consider One source and other sources are replaced  with their internal  resistance i.e. voltage  source is short circuited  and current  source  is open  circuited.

When source  is DC supply , capacitor  is open circuited and inductor  is short circuited.

Add the results of current  in 8 ohms resistor due to AC source  and current in 8 ohms resistor due to DC source  to get current  in 8 ohms due to AC and DC supply.
