Describe the methods available for repairing cracked foundation walls.
Expert Solution
Step 1
Thin hairline cracks will usually be patched using a patching solution of vinyl concrete. May be filled using polyurethane, silicone, or rubber concrete caulk to gaps broader than a hairline. Using a caulking tool to drive the caulk along its full span into a crack. That form of caulk is successful as it fills most of the crack room and helps the base to expand and contract through severe weather changes. Afterwards apply, let it dry. Apply once more if it contracts within the crack and therefore does not fill the crack 's entire dimension.
