The comparable worth controversy is associated with the issue of equal pay for equal work among men and women. This term got popular in the second half of the twentieth century when a book was written by Henry J. Aaron in 1986.
Since centuries there are various eminent Scholars and social activists who have raised their voice and concerns regarding the biased treatment of women either socially, politically or even economically.
