Their findings motivated the researchers to come up with an analysis of Scopus-indexed journals. The study aimed to analyze several journals in engineering and information technology education discontinued by Scopus. The source list of Scopus of May 2019 was considered as the basis of the analysis. Study shows that journals that were indexed by Scopus on the years 2017, 2018, 2019 are still safe but Journals that are indexed by Scopus on the year 2016 and below may not be safe to publish if it is not practicing the metrics of the Scopus in selecting paper for publication.
