Coronary arteries are arteries that supply oxygen-rich blood and essential nutrients to the heart muscles. If an injury or damage to the inner wall of the coronary artery may lead to coronary artery disease or coronary heart disease (CHD). Smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, and sedentary lifestyle are responsible for the damage to the coronary artery.
