Define the terms dysrhythmia and arrhythmia.
The heart is the vital organ of the circulatory system, that concerns the transport of oxygenated blood to the various regions of the body and thus is called the pumping organ of the body. The heart is a purely muscular organ made up of the cardiac muscle that shows differentiation in two of its forms, mainly cardiac pacemakers cells and cardiac myocytes. Cardiac pacemaker cells are specialized autorhythmic cells that help in the generation of the action potential which leads to the formation of a heartbeat in a sinoatrial node which is then propagated to the rest of the heart. Meanwhile, cardiac myocytes cells form the muscular frame and the wall of the heart and aids in providing efficiency to the heart's pumping action.
