Define Swahili Coast

Swahili is the name for a language, culture, and region in East Africa. The Swahili language evolved from the original Kiswahili language spoken by the Bantu people of East Africa. It is the official language of Tanzania and Kenya, widely spoken in Uganda, DRC, the Comoros Islands. This language is also spoken to a smaller extent in Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique.
