Transcribed Image Text:Easy Going Car Rental (EGCR) is a newly opened car rental
service that is located in Barka. The manager Mr Nasser Mohammed
is a technology oriented person. He doesn't want to run his business
on a paper based system. ECGR would like to solve their
problems; they have heard something about databases but are
not really sure what it is all about.
ECGR rents different types of cars including buses, sedan, four-
wheelers, luxury cars and other types maybe added in the future.
Each car has a unique plate number and each car has different color,
model and the year it's made. Each car type has a different daily rate
of rental.
Apart from ECGR wanting to keep information about rental, they
would also like to keep a good record of their employees. They
would like to have employee passport number, name, GSM and
address.
ECGR has multiple branches, every car rented from a specific
branch must be returned back to the same branch. ECGR would like
to record the details of the customer including customer civil ID,
customer full name, Date of birth, gender, GSM and office number.
• Each car belongs to a specific branch and when a car is rented it
is important to keep information such as which car is to be rented,
date rented and employee that is authorizing this rental.
When a car is returned the date returned must be recorded, depending
on the date rented, date returned and rate an amount must be stored
that the customer must pay. MR Nasser would also like to have a
status showing whether the amount has been paid or not.
You are a database developer intern (trainee) who knows MR Nasser,
he has explained to you what his vision is and you have offered to help
him develop a database for ECGR. In return MR Nasser has agreed to
give you free rental to you and your family for 6 months.
