Consider the following substance: C2H4O. Which intermolecular forces are present? (step-by-step)

With this molecular formula we can form acetaldehyde, ethenol and epoxide.
CH3CHO-Acetaldehyde has polar C=O. bond, so it exhibits dipole-dipole interactions. But acetaldehyde has no intermolecular hydrogen bonding, as it has no H atom attached to O, N or F atom. Therefore, the intermolecular forces exhibited by acetaldehyde are London dispersion forces and dipole-dipole interactions.
CH2=CH(OH)-ethenol is a polar molecule and experience dipole-dipole interactions. The especially strong intermolecular forces in ethenol are a result of a special class of dipole-dipole forces called hydrogen bonds.
