Clock Algorithm:-The "hand" (iterator) of the clock method points to the latest analyzed page frame in a circular list of pages that are kept in memory. No empty frames are present when a page fault occurs, thus the R (referenced) bit is checked where the hand is. In other words, a Second chance is a reasonable method, but because it constantly moves pages about in its list, it is excessively inefficient. A better strategy is to keep all the page frames on a clock-shaped circular list.
