Some important solubility rules are

  • All ammonium salts are soluble
  • All sulfide salts are insoluble ( except sulfides of Na , K , NH4+ ,  Mg , Ca , Ba and Sr which are soluble )
  • All Chlorides , bromides and iodides are soluble ( except with silver , mercury and lead )
  • All nitrates are soluble
