Introduction
Taxonomy is the branch of science which deals with the classification of organisms in the hierarchical arranged groups such as Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family Genus, Species. It also deals with the naming of new species and placing them in respective group.
The organisms are being classified on the basis of their morphological characters. From Kingdom to species the similarities among them increase while diversification among them decreases.
Carl Linnaeus is referred as father of modern taxonomy he classified the organisms and gave the idea of Binomial nomenclature. He has also coined the Homo sapiens term for the Humans.
In Kingdom Animalia, phylum chordates and superclass Tetrapoda all these mammals, primates and humans comes. Amniotes is the clade which includes reptiles, birds and mammals.
