Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.
Benoît Clapeyron combined Boyle's Gas Law with several other gas laws to create the Ideal Gas Law. The Ideal Gas Law states that the volume (V) of a gas varies directly with its temperature (T) and inversely with its Pressure (P). 500 ml of hydrogen gas is at 50 degrees Celsius and under 75 Pascals of pressure. What will the volume of the gas be when the temperature is 100 degrees Celsius and the pressure is 30 Pascals?
