Polymers are made up by repeating singe or two units. They are made up of monomers. A single unit which is getting repeated is known as monomeric unit. In polyethylene glycol , ethylene glycol is the monomer. In Polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride is the monomer. Properties of the polymers depend upon the monomeric units. Both the polymers have different monomers, so their properties differ.
