PTotal = P1 + P2 + P3 + ... + Pn
Given data:
Partial pressure of H2 gas = 427.0 Torr,
Partial pressure of N2 gas = 350.7 Torr,
Partial pressure of Ar gas = 92.9 Torr.
Therefore total pressure is calculated as,
PTotal = PH2 (g) + PN2 (g) + PAr (g)
= (427.0 + 350.7 + 92.9) Torr
= 870.6 Torr
Therefore the total pressure is 870.6 Torr.
