He invited Fatima, CIO of any to discuss the status of Information systems used in the company. Some of the systems that they discuss during the meeting are Company is using information system to maintain the required temperature and pressure in the oil fields. Whenever in any field e crosses the standard limit, the censors inform the manager sitting in Muscat and they can take corrective action to control it. Considering the volatile or oil market, company uses Decision Support Systems to perform the scenario planning for the future. It helps the managers to mistic planning, pessimistic planning and normal plan for the oil price in coming months. Company is also using Network management system to monitoring the bandwidth usage and adjust the resources allocated to user as per their requirement. System also monitor the attempts of unauthenticated login and informs the Network manager immediately Online attendance system has been used since last 10 years to automate the attendance entry into the Salary processing system.
