Given that the urn contains balls numbered 4 to 9.

Sample space={4,5,6,7,8,9}

That is there are 6 balls, the probability of drawing each ball has equal probability 1/6.

Let x be the amount of money a player will win or lose.

If x lands on odd then the player will win $1.

That is ,if x lies on  {5,7,9} the player wins $1.

If x lands on even then the player will lose $1.5.

That is, if x lies on {4,6,8}  the player loses $1.5.

The probability distribution table is constructed below.
