Step 2: Procedure
First select the co-ordinate node option from drawing tools given at the top middle part represented as
inclined line and a pencil icon.
Now, Create two points, point A as origin (0,0) & point B as (10,0).
Right click on the origin node, select view/edit node properties, then select fixed support.
From loading tools on top right corner, select the icon with trapezoidal load and enter the intensity at (0,0)
as 5 KN/m & at (4,0) as 5 KN/m to get the udl of 5 KN/m
From loading tools, select the icon with concentrated load and enter the magnitude as 2 KN at a point of
(7,0).
From analysis tab on top, select non-linear static analysis.
From analysis results toggles on left middle part, select the 2nd option for Bending moment diagram & 3rd
option for shear force diagram.
