Briefly explain conditional control flow directives
In computer programming, Conditional Control Flow is the order of execution or evaluation according to the predefined conditional statements.
It can be categorized as below :
1. Conditional Control Flow by Selection
2. Conditional Control Flow by Repetition
Conditional Control Flow by Selection: Selection control flow is used for conditional statements for taking any decision at some point or choosing a path from alternatives.
- For example, consider the coding snippet mentioned below :
if ( a>b)
printf("A is greater");
else if (a<b)
printf("B is greater");
else
printf("They are equal");
Here, a single print statement from the alternatives will be selected as per when the checkpoint condition is satisfied.
- One more example can be described as below :
