Bob Blauner , American Sociologist primarily known for the "Blauner hypothesis" in sociology.
The hypothesis states that,
Groups which are a minority created by process of colonization are by far more marginalized and more prone to undergo discriminatory situations than the other minority groups which are created by the process of migration.
Therefore it is not uncommon to see that migrants to a particular place inspite of being the minority might be treated better in an alien place as opposed to the colonized being treated in a dehumanizing manner by the colonizers
This is what in sociology we call the Blauner hypothesis and is used in the academic and research methodology to grasp subject matter- like the study of slavery or race relations in societies like American society
The two groups which Blauner talks of are as follows-
1. Migrants
2. Colonized
