In which of the following cases will a Barr body be seen?only XXXYXOonly XXYboth XX and XXY
Barr body was a strongly stained inactivated condensed X chromosome found in each somatic cell of most female mammals and used to determine genetic femaleness (as in pregnancy) — also known as sex chromatin.
A single X chromosome's level of gene activity turns out to be the usual "dosage" for humans. This dosage is given to men because they only have one X chromosome. Women are given the same quantity for a different reason: X-inactivation, which entails turning off one of their two X chromosomes.
An X chromosome is compacted during X-inactivation to form a tiny, dense structure known as a Barr body.
The majority of the genes on the Barr body are dormant, which means they aren't being transcribed.
