Based on your individual research for this week as well as your own experiences, assess Digital Leadership, including a leader’s ability to transform an organization, results of a leader’s actions on organizational culture, and how changed policies influence behaviors In my early research so far on Digital Leadership, I have found some interesting viewpoints, such as, "Leadership in the digital economy needs to be more decentralized and should use the collective competence and intelligence in the company" (Petry). Now that we live in such a digital world, it seems common that leaders and managers might not be the most knowledgable or skilled at the task at hand. That's not to say that leadership is any less important, but I think skilled leaders in today's economy must realize that they are merely guiding the ship, and cede control of many aspects of the company. The digital economy is rapidly changing due to technological, political and societal changes and it is the leader's role to guide and adapt the company to these changes.
