At least six justices must participate in a case before
the U.S. Supreme Court.
True ____ False ____
US Supreme Court is the significant tribunal in America, as it is the highest authority in the USA's judicial system.
At the Supreme Court's starting, the Judiciary Act of 1789 enabled only six justices in the Supreme Court. Still, the criteria changed over time, as Congress changed the judges' numbers on the court many times by implementing new Judiciary Acts. In 1869 Congress set justices number to 9, and from that period, the number didn't increase or decrease in the Supreme Court. So in the current scenario, nine justices should participate in a case before the Supreme Court.
So the above statement is false.
