Now is the time that you can define your priorities for negotiations. Note that your prenegotiation target is the minimum that you are willing to consider in negotiation. Your counteroffer would be greater than your opening counteroffer. You cannot negotiate every aspect of the deal. Select one or two primary areas to concentrate the negotiations. You need to understand factors that are important to you and to the prospective employer. You must find common ground. This demonstrates an argument to show your prospective employer how important pace and convenience is to you.
