Psychology as a social science mainly focuses on an individual and their living in socio-cultural settings. Psychology as a social science studies the behavior of an individual in society. the factors it focuses on are individual's identity, family background he/she belongs to, an individual's potential, likes and dislikes, culture in which they are born and brought up and more. Psychology emphasize on an individual dealing with society and their experiences in social context whereas Psychology as sciences mainly came in observation when scientist started applying scientific methods in the phenomenon that brought development in psychology but we all know psychology is rooted with Philosophy that  is subjective in nature whereas scientific methods mainly emphasize on objectivity or measurements  in the concepts , what we call it "Hypothetico deductive reasoning" and include hypothesis , assumptions and explanations.
