Although the condition of women has gotten better in the last few decades by getting the right to vote and access to education but still women are less privileged today than men. Women still face the issues of pay gaps between both genders as women are paid less than their male counterparts. Less women hold top level positions in corporations as compared to men and there is also huge under-representation of women in the political realm in almost every country.

These are very few indicators of the fact that women are less privileged than men and these gaps increases dramatically in the third world countries.
