Steps:
1-First, at one end of the line segment place the compass
2- Now, adjust the compass slightly longer than half of the length of the line segment.
3- Above the line segment and below the line segment, draw the arcs from one end
4- With the same arc length, draw the arc from the other end above and below the line segment
5-Now, draw the line segment by placing the straightedge where arcs cross above and below the line segment.
The line drawn with the help of straightedge is the bisector of the line segment
