A. Global Warming
It refers to the rise in the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere, soil
and water.
What kind of home will there be for young children like me if we
continue to destroy our planet who shelters us night and day?
We learn from school the causes and effects of global warming. We also
learn the importance of trees in the environment. They are important because
they absorb gases like carbon dioxide and release oxygen for us. Due to
cutting of trees, carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere. It seems the
elders forget the basic knowledge of how vital trees are. Young children like
me care for our planet too. I can help save our planet by planting. One tree can
make a big difference.
Let our little voices be heard. Earth is for everyone. Perhaps in our
hands, the future would be different. Always remember, we owe our life to
her. Save our planet because she's the only one that we have.
B. Waste and Waste Disposal
They are unwanted or unusable materials that need to be disposed.
C. Depletion and Destruction of Ozone Layer
It is the gradual thinning of the Earth's ozone layer thus reducing its
capacity to absorb ultraviolet radiation.
D. Air and Water Pollution
It is the contamination of the environment caused by harmful substances.
