1) We want to design a voltage divider circuit. The power supply voltage is 5.0 V, the current is to be 3.31 mA, and the voltage V_ab should be 1.69 V.
Use the Firgure 1 as reference
a) Calculate R_1
b) Calculate R_2
c) If the values you calculate for the resistors are not available, use the closes value resistor available, or combinations of resistors in series, and calculate new voltages and currents
d) Build the circuit and verify your design by measuring the predicted current and voltage. Note the location of the ammeter and voltmeter in Figure 1. If you could not find the exact values, use values close to what you need and then re-calculate the voltages. Compare these new voltages with measured values.
