The initial beam selected has a moment of inertia, I = 2841 cm*, and a modulus of elasticity, E = 200 GPa. Design codes specify the maximum deflection should not exceed A,= L/360 where L is the span of the beam in mm. Determine whether the maximum deflection of the beam is less than the permissible deflection. If it is more than the permissible deflection recommend a minimum moment of inertia in cm' that will meet the design codes specifications.
