I know to find the stockholders equity you divide the Net income by the average stockholder's equity and I also know in order to find the common stockholder's equity you divide the Net income-Preferred Dividends by the Average Stockholders Equity but each time I come up with an answer it say's I am incorrect. I am so confused now.
