Expert Solution
Step 1

Given the speed of the projectile v=35.0m/s

(a) height of the projectile h=?

we can calculate this by v2=u2+2as

when the projectile is on the maximum height the speed of the projectile will be 0 at that moment and acceleration will be acceleration due to gravity and the direction will be negative

02=35.02+2(-9.8)hh=62.5m

so the projectile will go maximum height of 62.5m.
