A box is formed by cutting squares from the four corners of a 7"-wide by 9"-long sheet of paper and folding up the sides. Suppose the function ff determines the volume of the box (in cubic inches) given a cutout length (in inches). Write a function formula for f. I wrote. f(x) = x(7-2x)(9-2x) It then asks What is the domain of f? and to write it as an interval. I solved for 7-2x>=0 The answer I put was (0,3.5). it marked it correct.  But for finding the range of f, I kept getting that one wrong.  The answer it said it was is (0, 36.6081).

Question

A box is formed by cutting squares from the four corners of a 7"-wide by 9"-long sheet of paper and folding up the sides.

Suppose the function ff determines the volume of the box (in cubic inches) given a cutout length (in inches). Write a function formula for f.

I wrote. f(x) = x(7-2x)(9-2x)

It then asks What is the domain of f? and to write it as an interval.

I solved for 7-2x>=0

The answer I put was (0,3.5). it marked it correct.

But for finding the range of f, I kept getting that one wrong.

The answer it said it was is (0, 36.6081).

I do not know how they found the range. I thought to evaluate different equations placing 0 as x to find the range. I tried to set it to 0 and solve. When looking up this answer, it says "all real numbers." I'm completely confused.
