Question

Using C++ write a class named Point with the following specification:

  • (a) In a .hpp file declare Point class which must 3 private data members which are doubles named m_x, m_y, m_z which initialized via the class’s constructor that should take 3 parameters in the .cpp file.

  • (b) Point class should have 3 const accessor instance functions to get the x, y and z co-ordinates of the Point object.

  • (c) Create a main function in the main_func.cpp file and instantiate a point p1 with the following x and y co-ordinates: x should be 7.86, y should be 8.786 and z should be 9.786.

  • (d) Instantiate a further 6 Point objects using a for loop with random x, y and z double data type co-ordinates in the following ranges with the decimal portion of the random numbers being non-zero.
  1. x range -100 .0 < x < 100.0
  2. y range -50.0 < y < 50.0
  3. z range -25.0 < z < 25.0

  • (e) Using cout object print out the values of each of the 7 Point objects you have created in main using the Point objects accessor functions to read the x,y and z co-ordinates to be printed.
