8685 DIN 02248939 Each vial contains sterile lyophilized piperacillin sodium powder equivalent Latex Free Stopper to 2g of piperacillin. Preservative tree. Vial stoppers do not contain natural rubber latex. Reconstitution: I.M.: Add 4 mL Sterile Water for Injection USP. HPIPERACILLIN Provides approximately 5 ml at 0.4 g/mL piperaclin. I.V.: Add 10 ml of Sterile Water for Injection USP. Provides approximately 11 mL at 0.18 g/ml. piperacillin. I.V. Infusion: Reconstitute as above; further dilute with recommended intravenous solutions. Use reconstituted or further diluted solutions within 24 hours, if stored at room temperature, or 72 hours if refrigerated. Consult Package Insert for detailed directions.
