1. Synchronous speed N, = (120*frequency ) / No.of poles
= (120*50)/6 = 1000 rpm
2. Ng = (120*60)/6 = 1200 rpm
3. Slip = ( synchronous speed - rotor speed)/ synchronous speed
Synchronous speed Ng = ( 120*50)/4 = 1500 rpm
slip = (1500-1470)/1500 = 0.02

% slip = 0.02*100= 2%
4. slip = 0.03

0.03= (1500- rotor speed) /1500
0.03*1500=1500- rotor speed
