Solve the following problems :
**NOTE: Illustrations/Drawings and complete solutions must be included in your submissions.
1. A ball leaves a girl's hand with an upward velocity of 6 meters per second. Determine the MAXIMUM height of
the ball before it starts to fall down again. Also, determine how long will it take before the ball return to the girl's
hand.
2. Santa's sled has a constant acceleration of 2 meters per second squared and starts from REST. Determine the
distance (in meters) it will cover after 5 seconds.
3. If a car is traveling at 20 meters per second in a straight line, how many meters will it take the car to stop if it
decelerates at 5 meters per second squared.
4. A cannon is pointed upward at an angleof 30 degrees with respect to the horizontal ground. If the muzzle
velocity of the cannon is 1500 feet per second, determine the maximum height of the cannon ball and distance it
will travel while neglecting the wind resitance.
5. A baseball player hits the ball such that as it leaves the bat, it has 40 meters per second velocity and an angle of
44 degrees. Determine the time when the ball reaches its highest flight.
