3. If a car is traveling at 20 meters per second in a straight line, how many meters will it take the car to stop if it
decelerates at 5 meters per second squared.
4. A cannon is pointed upward at an angleof 30 degrees with respect to the horizontal ground. If the muzzle
velocity of the cannon is 1500 feet per second, determine the maximum height of the cannon ball and distance it
will travel while neglecting the wind resitance.
