the bottom and maximum stress of 9.5 MPa at the

a) Determine the stress at the bottom due to the
final prestressing force alone.
b) Determine the safe moment that the beam
could carry based on the allowable stresses. (kN-
m)
c) Determine the sate uniform live load that the
beam could carry if the unit weight of concrete 24
kN/m°. (N/m)
d) Determine the stress at the top due to the final
prestressing force alone. (MPa)
