Magnitude of UVL at support B = 400 N/m
Step 2
Divide the given load into a triangle and a rectangle as follows:
The total load of each rectangular and triangular load will be equal to their respective area.
Also, the centroid of the rectangular load will lie at the center of the beam and the centroid of the triangular load will lie at the 1/3rd length of beam from the maximum end.
