4. A real estate company is looking for house criteria that are often considered by families to buy a house. There are some house criteria which are frequently mentioned by the families before they buy a house: selling price, room size, no of bedroom, no of bathroom and garage size. After processing the data by using a regression, they found the following output: SUMMARY OUTPUT Regression Statistics Multiple R 0.987932065 R Square 0.976009764 Adjusted R Squ: 0.944022783 Standard Error 25.5011827 Observations ANOVA gnificance F 30.51271898 0.009156 df SS MS Regression 79370.94404 19842.73601 Residual 3 1950.930957 650.3103189 Total 81321.875 Coefficients Standard Error t Stat Pvalue Lower 95NU Intercept -50.57050093 35.80952196 -1.412208211 0.252746791 -164.532 x1(Room size) X2(# of bedroor X3 (H of bathroc -19.99072356 X4 (Garage size) 4.160482375 1.778955738 0.493559165 3.604341411 0.036649668 0.20823 49.50437318 22.31596872 2.218338527 0.113218219 -21.515 18.37997667 -1.08763596 0.35632827 -78.484 23.39990723 0.177799097 0.870208514 -78.6294 Questions: A. What is the interpretation of determination coefficient (R) and adjusted coefficient determination (R')? B. - By looking at p-value of each independent variables, which independent variable(s) is'are significant (Xi)?. What independent variables should be eliminated to get a better model? - What changes do you expect to happen to determination coefficient after the elimination? Explain the answer. C. By looking at the significant level of F test, are you still able to use the overall equation? Why? Please explain.
Family of Curves
A family of curves is a group of curves that are each described by a parametrization in which one or more variables are parameters. In general, the parameters have more complexity on the assembly of the curve than an ordinary linear transformation. These families appear commonly in the solution of differential equations. When a constant of integration is added, it is normally modified algebraically until it no longer replicates a plain linear transformation. The order of a differential equation depends on how many uncertain variables appear in the corresponding curve. The order of the differential equation acquired is two if two unknown variables exist in an equation belonging to this family.
XZ Plane
In order to understand XZ plane, it's helpful to understand two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces. To plot a point on a plane, two numbers are needed, and these two numbers in the plane can be represented as an ordered pair (a,b) where a and b are real numbers and a is the horizontal coordinate and b is the vertical coordinate. This type of plane is called two-dimensional and it contains two perpendicular axes, the horizontal axis, and the vertical axis.
Euclidean Geometry
Geometry is the branch of mathematics that deals with flat surfaces like lines, angles, points, two-dimensional figures, etc. In Euclidean geometry, one studies the geometrical shapes that rely on different theorems and axioms. This (pure mathematics) geometry was introduced by the Greek mathematician Euclid, and that is why it is called Euclidean geometry. Euclid explained this in his book named 'elements'. Euclid's method in Euclidean geometry involves handling a small group of innately captivate axioms and incorporating many of these other propositions. The elements written by Euclid are the fundamentals for the study of geometry from a modern mathematical perspective. Elements comprise Euclidean theories, postulates, axioms, construction, and mathematical proofs of propositions.
Lines and Angles
In a two-dimensional plane, a line is simply a figure that joins two points. Usually, lines are used for presenting objects that are straight in shape and have minimal depth or width.
