Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.
-4 + (-5) x 9
Here a basic mathematical operation problem is given. For doing this problem we should have the correct knowledge of order of operations while doing problem.
Here are the rules in the order of operation.
1. initially complete the operation in the brackets.
2. Do exponent or root( if you don't know what it is, don't worry about that you will learn in higher classes.)
3. Multiplication and division performing left to right
4. addition and subtraction performing left to right
