organization. Management of your organization has taken several
measures to monitor, prevent, and mitigate the spread of COVID-
19.The company has implemented an emergency COVID-19 leave
policy for the employees who are unable to work or uncomfortable at
work. To ensure employee safety, work from home has been given to
the employees. Faced with depressed revenues, your organization has
been forced to lay off employees temporarily or permanently and
took the decision of mass terminations as well.
COVID-19, increased regulations and remote workforce
management have all significantly contributed to the changing
nature of HR and intensified the pressure on the function. Now
more than ever, this new environment demands that HR is
equipped, engaged, and invested in not only helping their
organization meet its business objectives but mitigating risk as
well. Not an easy task. As a member of HR audit team, you are
