Expert Solution
Step 1 Aromaticity

For a structure to be aromatic it must follow the following conditions:-                                                                                      (1) It must be cyclic  (2) It must be planar  (3) Complete resonance should occur                                                                       (4) If the number of Huckel electrons are equal to 4n, then it will be anti-aromatic; and if it Huckel electrons are equal to  (4n+2 ), then the structure will be Aromatic. Where n = 0, 1 2, 3, 4, ...... (Huckel electrons are those electrons that actively participate in the resonance)

If any of the above condition is not followed by the structure, then it will be non-aromaticChemistry homework question answer, step 1, image 1
