3 - Write a program that asks the user to input an integer. Read the input inside a loop and check the input, if it is a integer print it out and quit. If it is not integer data re-ask the user to input an integer.
Types of Loop
Loops are the elements of programming in which a part of code is repeated a particular number of times. Loop executes the series of statements many times till the conditional statement becomes false.
Loops
Any task which is repeated more than one time is called a loop. Basically, loops can be divided into three types as while, do-while and for loop. There are so many programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, PYTHON, and many more where looping statements can be used for repetitive execution.
While Loop
Loop is a feature in the programming language. It helps us to execute a set of instructions regularly. The block of code executes until some conditions provided within that Loop are true.
To run this
As per the question, we need to write a program that does the following :
Input an integer from user in a loop.
If input is integer, print it and exit.
Else ask for input again.
Since the programming language is not specified, I have given the code in Java that runs on Eclipse.
I have used the concept of try catch in implementing the given problem. If the user inputs an integer, input is printed and loop exits. But if something else is entered, an exception occurs and try block is executed where the user is asked to enter the input again.
