Type of aggregate : Stone, sand, gravel can affect the shrinkage.
Size and shape of aggregate : The type such as flaky or rounded can affect the concrete. Rounded aggregates do not bind with concrete.
Aggregate hardness : Low hardness produces low strength.
water cement ratio : As water content increases, the w/c also goes on increasing and hence it will increase shrinkage in concrete.
Moisture content : Same as water cement ratio, moisture content also increases affecting the shrinkage of concrete.
