Transcribed Image Text:practice converting visual data into binary and decimal.
The graph paper tables below represent data in a visual format. Each table
below is a visual represenatation of 8 bytes, one byte per row. Each column
in the row represents a single bit. The final entry in the table is for the
decimal number represented in the row and is not part of the byte.
An example: |x||X| |X|| 42
Instructions
1. For table one take a pencil and draw a numeral using as much of the
graph paper as possible. Mark any square that contains a line with a
large X or fill in the square.
2. For table two draw an emoji with a pencil using the entire graph paper
and mark squares that contain a line with a large X or fill in the blocks.
3. For an example of "drawing" refer to table three; it contains the letter
4. Convert the visibile bits (Marked with an X) to decimal on table three.
Fill in the values in the space provided.
5. Convert the decimal numbers in table four to bits and fill in the correct
bits on the graph paper.
